Drama Club

Drama Club is one of the most popular club at Bond. Every year, a big drama play will be presented featuring all the club members.

On May 29th, 2017, many parents attended the cabaret night celebrating a drama event at Bond. They gathered together in the gym to enjoy desserts, wine, cheese and the entertainment provided by their children on the stage. Bond Drama Club members performed the “Lion and Mouse Stories” by Colleen Neuman.

23 students from Bond’s Drama Club produced the popular Robin Hood: A British Pantomime on stage on May 26th, 2016.

It is customary in British pantomimes to have the dashing male hero played by a female, and the comical mother character played by a male. The genders of some of the other principal characters are sometimes swapped as well.

The play itself is a family friendly comedy filled with song, dance, and many terrible but good puns. The audience is also a “character” in the show as they are encouraged to participate when the characters on stage prompt them to. The audience was invited to help their heroes and boo their villains.

On June 4th 2015, Bond Drama Club performed a play named  "Tempest ".

Directed by drama teacher, Mr. Rodrigues, 15 cast members, 14 chorus members and 4 crews participated in the performance and 60 parents and teachers enjoyed the show as the audience.

Teamwork contributed to the successful performance and every one did a good job!
