Following an email from Toronto Public Health on June 10^th, Bond Academy confirmed that Grade 8 will be able to proceed with an in-person Graduation Ceremony, with Covid-19 restrictions. The ceremony will be held in the front yard on Monday, June 21^st at 6 p.m. 

Our intent to make our ceremony as similar as possible to our traditional Bond Academy Grad Ceremony, normally held in the gymnasium, while meeting the Covid restrictions required by the Ministry of Education and Toronto Public Health. Some of the more relevant restrictions are outlined below.

• Each Grad will be permitted only 2 guests from their household.
• All guests will be assigned seating in-household groups, with each group maintaining a social distance of 2 meters from other groups.
• Masks must be worn by guests and participants. We are working on procedures using social distancing, to allow participants to remove masks for presentation and picture purposes.
• All participants will need to provide contact information. You will receive a form by email to submit the information and assist us with setting up seating.
• All participants will need to complete a self-assessment form before arriving for the ceremony. That form will be emailed to you on June 18th.
• Guests can enter the school for washroom use only.
• All guests, grads, and staff must strive to maintain social distance at all times unless with members of their household.

To make the ceremony more available to family members, we will record the ceremony and make it available. We are also working on setting up a Zoom link to provide access to components of the ceremony.
