October 14: Meet 17 Universities at the Only U-Fair in Ontario

Bond Academy will be hosting it's 2021 Online University Fair on Thursday, October 14th. This is Bond’s fourth University Fair and its second online fair due to the pandemic, as well as being the only University Fair in Ontario to be run exclusively by a private school. 

The Fair is open to all Secondary Bond students, as part of their Gr. 7-12 Pathways Planning, as well as their parents. Parents can sign up by completing the online registration link https://forms.gle/kqYeJh5PwXFsBRTp6 by 9:00am on Tuesday, October 12th.

This year 17 Universities from across Canada including U of T, Queen's, Waterloo and UBC will be hosting virtual presentations, which will give Bond students' opportunities to ask questions regarding their programs of interest. 

Local students will need to fill out the attached 2021 Bond Online University Fair form and choose, in order, the top 5 University Zoom presentations that they would like to attend. The completed form can be emailed to studentservice@bondcollege.com or handed in to Eric Wang in International Student Services by 9:00am on Tuesday, October 12th.

Ontario

  • Brock University

A Comprehensive school for a wide range of programs. Its business programs, especially accounting programs, are famous in Canada.   • McMaster University

  • Ontario Tech University

OnTech is located in the eastern Greater Toronto Area. It has more than 80 specialized research labs and facilities.   • Queen’s University

Queen’s University is the top 5th Canadian university in the medical doctoral ranking. Most programs at Queen’s are ranked as top 5 or top 10 nationally. It has one of the best university business programs in Canada.   • Ryerson University

  • University of Guelph

  • University of Toronto

One of the world’s top research-intensive universities, it is a leading institution for engineering science, arts, social science, biology, and medical science.   • University of Waterloo

  • University of Windsor 

Located at the southern end of Canada, the UWindsor campus enjoys a prime location, only minutes from downtown Detroit.   • Western University 

Western University is a leader in wind engineering, business education, and medicine. The Ivey Business School has a top reputation. High school applicants only get the Ivey Advanced Entry Opportunity (AEO) for the Honors Business Administration program.   • Huron at Western

  • Wilfrid Laurier University

Laurier is in the neighborhood of the University of Waterloo, which allows students to take courses at the University of Waterloo as well as Laurier.   • York University

  • Concordia University

Concordia is located in the heart of the city of Montreal. Concordia is one of the three universities in Quebec where English is the primary language of instruction. British Columbia

  • Simon Fraser University

SFU has been ranked as the No. 1 comprehensive university in Canada for many years. It has a three-semester system and has extensive co-op offerings. Students have opportunities to work for well-known companies such as Tesla and Google.   • University of British Columbia

UBC is a global center for teaching, learning, and research, consistently ranked among the top 20 public universities in the world. Nova Scotia

  • Dalhousie University

Dalhousie University is in Halifax, Nova Scotia which is ranked one of the friendliest cities in the world. Dalhousie is ranked in the top 15 universities in Canada. It has two campuses and one of them is an agricultural campus. It is one of the 10 top-ranking Canadian universities for agriculture and forestry, environmental science, nursing, and psychology.
