April 2^nd, 2021 

Students in Grades 7 and 8 participated in classroom debates this term on April 1st, 2021. Through this experience, they were able to build upon their research, abstract reasoning and public speaking skills. 

The students did a wonderful job of presenting their points to support their stance with the use of appropriate phrases. Also, they demonstrated great listening skills by listening respectively to what their opposition had to say. 

Mrs. de Castro, Bond Grade 7/8 English Language Arts Teacher is very proud of the students’ ability to work as a team, their dedication to this project, and the professional presentation of their points.
