The Library Door Decorating Contest was held to promote literacy at Bond Academy. The theme of the contest was "Reading Brings Us Together". Classes were judged on the criteria: effort, originality, and staying on theme.

Four judges (Madam Antonopoulos, Mr. Allen, Mrs. Billing, and Mrs. Cheng) awarded points and determined the winners:

• 1st Prize - Grade 4: $75 for Scholastic and a Cookies/Hot Coco Party
• 2nd Prize - Montessori 1: ($50 for Scholastic and a Library Movie Day)
• 3rd Prize - Tie between Grades 2 and 8C: $25 each for Scholastic, and hitting a teacher with A-Pie-In-The-Face!

 

All of our homeroom classes did an incredible job with their doors. I want to congratulate everyone on their teamwork, creativity, and school pride! I also want to thank students and staff for supporting the library and sharing their love for reading!" Congratulations to all of our students and teachers for designing beautiful classroom doors that promote reading! Excellent creativity and teamwork!
