Bond Secondary Clubs: Learn New Skills, Be Involved in Passion, Meet New Friends

As per the Ministry of Education, school extracurricular clubs are once again allowed to run in-person. As such, Bond Academy has a number of clubs starting this month, which are a great way for students to learn new skills, be involved in something that they are passionate about and meet new friends. 

All students are encouraged to join at least one club either in person or via Zoom if their schedule permits. 

Here is the current list of extracurricular and academic clubs being offered

  • Entrepreneurship Club
  • Science Club
  • Math Club
  • Cooking Club
  • March Madness Student/Teacher Ping Pong Tournament
  • Teacher versus Student Intramural Hockey
  • Badminton Club
  • Yoga Club
  • Math/Science Study Hall
  • English/Social Sciences Study Hall

  • Bond/Phase 1 Basketball

SSAF Tournaments

The Small Schools Athletic Foundation (SSAF), have not given notice yet to schools if sports will be returning this year. SSAF sports will most likely return in September with the following sports being offered (based on enrollment):

  • U20 Girls Volleyball
  • U20 Boys Basketball
  • U16 Boys Basketball
  • U16 3 on 3 Boys Basketball
  • U20 Boys Soccer
  • U20 Boys/Girls Badminton
  • U20 Boys/Girls Floor Hockey
