Bond Academy Secondary Students went on their first field trip in over two years!

Eighteen Bond secondary students went Rock Climbing at the Toronto Climbing Academy on April 5th to experience this unique activity that not a lot of students have ever done before.

"Rock climbing is a very positive risk-taking activity that requires courage, self-confidence, self-reliance, patience, perseverance, and self-control. Students are meeting challenges, overcoming fears, and, in doing so, building their self-esteem. Watching the students support and motivate one another as they climbed the walls was very encouraging." said Mr. MacSween, Bond Secondary P.E. teacher and the lead teacher in this field trip.

We want to thank Mr. MacSween again for creating such a great experience for our students which built their leadership, teamwork, and communication skills!
