At Bond Academy Library, March is a month of STEM, Celebrations, Achievements and Arts.
March is a month of STEM.
During this month, the new Library S.T.E.M. Tools: LEGO, Straws and Connectors were introduced to students. They learned and played new coding games! Science and Math Lessons were also highlighting our Library.

March is a month of Celebrations.
Students were celebrating the Greek Heritage Month, Persian New Year and the International Women’s Day at the Library. Students joined the Zoom meeting with the Honourable Dr. Jean Augustine, and completed the book “She Persisted - Around the World” and also reading biographies of Women in History!

March is a month of Achievements.
Congratulations Natalie (Grade 8) on her Certificate of Achievement in the National Student Short Story Contest. Her story “What Happens Next” was suspenseful and well written.

Logan Lawrence, Grade 8 artist, hosted a Graffiti Design Workshop. We organized a Clay Sculptures Exhibit at our Library.

We have new books purchased for our Library and students have new titles to explore!
