Bond University Fair: Gain Insight into Post-secondary Academic Programs

October 18th, 2023

The annual Bond University Fair, which occurred on October 18th, 2023, was our first on-site fair since the COVID-19 pandemic. Bond is one of the few private school hosting an on-site university fair within the GTA area. The Bond University Fair aimed to provide our students with a unique opportunity to gain insight into the exceptional academic programs and opportunities offered by post-secondary institutions across Canada. This year, the fair featured 16 universities and colleges, and offered over 30 informative lectures from the post-secondary institutions. Participants could attend lectures from 8 different institutions for comprehensive and valuable information about their programs and admission procedures.

Parents, guardians and students gave high compliments regarding the Bond University Fair, which they benefited greatly from. The parent of a student in grade 11, provided us with positive feedback after joining the fair and stated that the “Bond University Fair was truly meaningful, especially for the student as well as the parents. The University Fair offered informative information including one-to-one conversations with each representative and the Bond guidance counsellors. I am very thankful that Bond organised such a meaningful event.”

Meanwhile, the representatives from the invited universities were all impressed by the Bond Community. Ms. Delicieux, International Recruitment Officer from Toronto Metropolitan University, commented that the “Bond University Fair is the best school fair I have ever been to. It is very well organized, and students are very respectful. They listened to the presentations very carefully, and they took notes. I was very impressed!” The International Recruitment Specialist from University of Waterloo – Mr. Munro stated “it was a great event and I appreciated having the chance to present to smaller groups, as well as the time in the gym to have individual conversations. It was an impressive group of students.”
