Bond Academy Students Discovering Curling

Led by Mr. MacSween and Ms. Maryam, fifteen Bond Academy students participated in the Curling Field Trip to the Leaside Curling Club November 27th, 2023.
For some, it was their very first time standing on ice! Nevertheless, the Bond students swept, "hurried hard!", and eventually learned how to gracefully throw some heavy, heavy rocks.
It is a great opportunities for Bond students to immerse themselves in a popular Canadian pastime, while learning a new sport and working on their leadership and teamwork skills.
Great discovery, Great trip!
