On January 31st, February 1st and 8th, students from Grades 4 to 12 at Bond had an important training session - CPR Training, as a supplement in our Physical and Health Education curriculum.

During two 3 hour sessions, the Toronto EMS staff delivered a hands-on activity and covered the Heimlich Manoeuvre, First Aid and CPR. All students successfully completed the course and were encouraged to pass the written component to receive a valid CPR card.

Not only is this lesson ideal for students who are interested in babysitting or building a résumé for future job applications; most importantly, it could save a life.
