On Friday, June 22nd, 2018 Bond Academy held its Grade 8 graduation.  Graduates and teachers were lead into the assembly by a bagpiper. Our principal Mr Healey welcomed everyone, especially the graduate and their families to celebrate their educational success.

Mr Healey summed up the event with the statement “Graduation is the most important day in your life, an event that moves you into another phase of your life…”

Grade 8 academic awards covering a variety of areas were presented to a number of outstanding students.  After which, each graduate was called forward to receive their graduation diploma. 

Valedictorian Joanne Elliott brought an emotional address to her fellow graduates and teachers.  Joanne took time to thank all her teachers by name and how they made an impact on the students that they had contact with.  She said, “I have amazing memories, experiences and most importantly, I had all of you…” – referring to her classmate and teachers.
