Our principal, John Healey, started with the opening comments and noted how the awards ceremony has grown over the years with an increase in both students and parent involvement.

This event is o recognize all the sporting events and activities throughout the year, for their achievements in sports and anyone who dedicated themselves to work together as a team or to improve their personal fitness, athletic skills or personal development.

All these events would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our staff and a round of applause erupted in thanks from everyone present.

Students were called to the stage one by one, in each award category, to receive their awards, a congratulatory hand shack and a group photo opportunity.

For those students who participated in other activities or a club get a WINNT certificate adorned with stickers indicating the different activities, they were involved in. These certificates will be with the student’s report cards.

Mr Healey ended the ceremony with a special thank you to Mrs Passmore and Mrs Phillips for all their hard work in getting everything ready for the awards ceremony.
