BOND PLACES SECOND IN 2018 SOMERSET FUN RUN

Bond Academy competed in the 2018 Somerset Fun Run at Milne Park in Markham on Oct 2nd, 2018. Hosted by Somerset Academy, this cross-country meet was open to students in grades 1 to 8 from schools within the Small Schools Athletic Federation. This was Bond’s second time at the annual meet and our cross-country team was eager to do well after winning the 2017 Somerset Fun Run last year.
The top three runners in each of eight races were awarded medals and the top five runners in each race earned points for their respective schools. The Rosedale Day School placed first overall with 39 points, Bond Academy placed second overall with 30 points, and A.R.S. Armenian Day School placed third overall with 15 points. Bond had 18 runners who finished in the top 10 of their respective races:
