SSAF U12 Open Flag Football Tournament

Congratulations to the U12 Flag Football team for braving the cold and delivering an incredible performance at the SSAF U12 Open Flag Football Tournament yesterday. The team played five games in the round robin, coming out with two victories and three defeats. The second victory in the last game of the round robin allowed Bond to squeak into the semi-finals as the fourth seed to face Northmount School. Although Bond was playing the number one seed with an undefeated 5-0 record, they did not allow this to bring their spirits down. With some amazing teamwork and their Witch Doctor team chant, Bond accepted the challenge and won 22-18 in thrilling fashion. This victory advanced Bond to the finals where they faced the Lynn-Rose Knights. Bond played just as hard but lost 18-26 in a classic nail-biter of a game. Bond accepted their second place medals with their heads held high.
Congratulations to all of the members of the team for contributing equally and giving us the most depth on the field. Everyone played their hearts out and every person had at least one huge play. You should be as proud of yourselves as your coaches are!
Enjoy your medals! Go Bond!
