The Light-up Ceremony of the 7th Toronto-Qinhuai Lantern Festival celebrating the  Year of the Pig will be held on Family Day, Monday, Feb. 18th, 2019 at Bond Academy (1500 Birchmount Road, Toronto). 

Qinhuai Lantern Festival has been recognized by UNESCO as one of China’s Intangible Cultural Heritage. Toronto-Qinhuai Lantern Festival, as a signature cultural event is the only festival of its kind during the Lunar New Year holiday season in GTA. It features authentic Qinhuai handmade lanterns, delicious Qinhuai snacks, lion dance & music and traditional Chinese Festival activities. A fun night for the whole family!
