Both Mr. Jacob and Mr. Peters, Coach and Athletic Director respectively, are extremely proud of their students' hard work and achievements. On April 17th the team attended the qualifying tournaments. David Duan, our sole singles competitor, finished first in a field of 11 players. Bo (Will) Peng and Ho Chun (Rocco) Lai finished second in a field of 11 doubles teams, while Xingjian Zheng (William) and Sean Zheng finished fourth in the same doubles tournament.

With such incredible performances both doubles teams, and David, qualified for the finals competition held May 9th at the Markham Pan Am Centre. At the finals, the entire team played with great skill, sportsmanship and courage. The greatest achievement on the day of the finals was the bronze medal performance put on by David Duan. "The entire team has shown dedication and hard work all year, and it shows in what we were able to accomplish in the finals." said Mr. Peters. Well done team!
