Montessori Summer Camp (Age 4 - 6)
In the morning the children will be focusing on the Cultural Studies component of the curriculum. Concepts from Biology, Geography, History and Science will be covered in a hands-on approach. All Science activities will involve planning and executing various Science concepts. There will also be ample opportunity for outdoor exploration and hands-on learning experiences.
Level 1 (Age 4 - 7)
Our summer days will start with some phonics fun followed by artistic mathematics. Before lunch, we will explore different Science topics and discuss how to be a good person through our different character building themes. Incorporated into the lessons will be song and creative arts to keep our summer learning fun.
Level 2 ( Age 8 - 11)
The beginning of our exciting day consists of an academic morning filled with fun and challenging theme based work that will keep their minds alert and interested. The morning will begin with a brain teaser, followed by journal/expository story writing. We will then segue into a mini novel study that will last the duration of the week. There will be a recess break followed by a mental math period and a science period.
