In October, Bond Academy joined over 2000 Ontario schools in participating in Student Vote, a parallel election to the October 24^th municipal election. Since September, Grade 10 Civics students had been learning about government and the election process and had researched the candidates running in Toronto’s municipal election.

October 31^st is National UNICEF Day. UNICEF stands for United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund. If you and your students have any spare change to donate it would be much appreciated. With our donation, UNICEF can provide aid in many ways, including:

October 20^th, Bond's Cross Country Team braved the cold and rain in our first Cross Country event since 2019! Runners attended the Newton's Grove Invitational run and ran against 10 other schools in our city. Each runner completed their respective races and every runner deserves a huge congratulations for their efforts at the meet. Each race had anywhere from 25-50 (or more) runners, and we had many Bond students place in the top 10.
