Bond on 2021 Top Fundraising Schools List to Fight Against Cancer

Congratulations!!! Bond Academy has placed on the “Top Fundraising Schools of 2021” list! Let us share our Terry Fox pride and achievement with our entire school community. We hope this great news to serve as a reminder of the unwavering commitment and passion our school has demonstrated in the fight against cancer.
It is an honour that Terry’s story of courage and determination continues to be taught, shared and used as an example of the best we can be, not only as individuals, but also as Canadians.
As the Charity embarks on the 2022 Terry Fox School Run this coming fall, thank you to our students, parents, teachers and staff for your continued support and we look forward to working with you this year.

Bond Secondary Clubs: Learn New Skills, Be Involved in Passion, Meet New Friends

As per the Ministry of Education, school extracurricular clubs are once again allowed to run in-person. As such, Bond Academy has a number of clubs starting this month, which are a great way for students to learn new skills, be involved in something that they are passionate about and meet new friends.
All students are encouraged to join at least one club either in person or via Zoom if their schedule permits.

Ontario Modernizing School Science Curriculum

To ensure students have critical life and job skills, the Ontario government is introducing a new science and technology curriculum and de-streaming the Grade 9 science course for the upcoming 2022-23 school year. Improved curriculum emphasizes critical life and job skills, including the skilled trades.
