For the past 12 years the Bond Academy Martial Arts and Program has grown in numbers. Martial Arts is a great way for children to learn the basics skills of body awareness, body control, and self defense skills.

Thank all the students who joined our 2019 Bond Yearbook Cover Contest! 21 artworks was displayed on the bulletin board beside the Main Office and voting took place on March, 20, 2019. 

Bond Academy was a flurry of activity during the evening of March 4, 2019. Our Arts Night was a huge success. The theme for the evening was Broadway Musicals. Students and their teachers decorated their bulletin boards with displays representing a particular Broadway musical creating a wonderful art gallery of works throughout our halls. Grade four curators escorted visitors around to different art displays, and junior choir buskers entertained in the hallways. We had a wonderful wine and pizza dinner for parents and delicious baked goods for dessert. 

On Friday February 22nd the bond academy concert band competed in the annual Kiwanis music festival held at Lawrence park collegiate institute. The band performed 'year of the dragon' and 'everything is awesome' from the Lego movie. After much hard work and practice the band finished 3rd with a silver standing. Congratulations to all band members and thank you to all staff for helping to accommodate our practices. Next up: the school music festival at Canada's Wonderland!
